Thermal Oil Boilers
Our Weiss-Kessel thermal oil boilers are manufactured in Germany to the highest of boiler standards. They use mineral or synthetic oil as the heat transfer medium which allows temperatures up to 320 °C to be achieved at low pressures. The thermal oil boiler is designed for a pressure of 10 bar.
Industrial thermal oil boilers can be supplied in two different designs.
- Constructed in a wound-pattern design with several parallel operating tube bundles; available as both two-pass and three-pass-boiler.
- Manufactured from single tube bundles. The flue gas multiple passes within the boiler are made vertically. Additional wall heating surfaces can be installed in the combustion chamber as required.
They can be supplied in thermal power output from 650kW up to a maximum of 50MWth. with a range of furnace and burning grate designs that include; cyclone furnace (underfeed and injection), rotating nozzle grate furnace and push grate furnace. These steam boilers come with automatic ash extraction, automatic tube cleaning, using compressed air, and flue gas recirculation for greater combustion chamber temperature control.
